Maryam Dawood Albassam is an investment expert in startups and business development with more than 10 years of experience in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, specializing in supporting the growth of innovative projects and building strong relationships with investors.

She held the position of Principal at Graphene Ventures, where she managed major investment deals in the Middle East and supervised successful funding rounds that exceeded tens of millions, in addition to supporting startups that achieved high growth rates reaching more than 400%.

She assumed the position of Director of Relations and Programs in her career and contributed to raising the success rates of online payment transactions by 40% within only six months. She also introduced initiatives to expand the scope of digital services and enhance awareness of using electronic payments in the Saudi market.

She began her career as an Account Executive, where she managed and executed advertising campaigns for government and private accounts, which granted her strong experience in marketing and client relations.

From an academic perspective, she holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Prince Sultan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Marketing from Al Yamamah University, in addition to executive programs in Venture Capital and Private Equity from Columbia University, as well as specialized programs in leadership and entrepreneurship from Harvard.
